One Response to Marc Winne on the future of food

Please encourage people to find local food at http://www.localharvest.com. One affordable option for buying organic food is to join a CSA, where you pay upfront for a seasons worth of fresh veggies. After I quit my job to stay home with my kids I invested my tax return into joining a CSA. I call this an investment because I can support my local certified naturally grown farm, Calliope Farms, but also an investment in my family’s health. We need to quit our addition to “convenience foods” which is making us diabetic! What we consume matters, let us error on the side of causation! And in regards to medical costs, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!
